About this Cat
Lizzie Borden is a sweet and independent girl. She doesn't ask for much unless she is hungry! This girl doesn't miss a meal and will let you know if you are even 5 minutes late for her feeding. Lizzie was a former KS cat that was adopted out with the premise that she needed to be an only cat; her adopter did not listen to us and proceeded to get a second cat and moved into a home with a dog. Unfortunately this was a negative change for Lizzie and 2 years later she was surrendered back to KS for being upset by the new additions to her home. We must express that Lizzie needs to be the solo queen of her castle. She is a faithful and loving companion but would prefer that she is your only companion. Understandably so Lizzie can be a little nervous the first couple of days in a new home but she comes around quickly and will be loving, affectionate and loyal. Lizzie just need someone that understands this and will allow her to live the rest of her life in a stable quiet household. We do believe children over 12 would be an ok fit for Lizzie. She is very playful and loves tubes, wand toys and any treat that you want to give her.
