Dasher doesn’t look or act his age one bit—this guy has plenty of pep in his step and is eager to learn. In his foster home, he’s made huge strides in his manners: he waits patiently outside rooms he’s not allowed in, doesn’t steal food (even when it’s right there on the coffee table), and settles right down on his nap spot when his time in the limelight is over. He’s also incredibly food-motivated, which makes training a breeze—whether it’s putting on his harness, hopping into the bath, or learning something new, a treat or dab of peanut butter is all the encouragement he needs. Dasher wants to be the top dog in your life and your home, so he’s looking for a pet-free household. He’d do best in a lower-traffic, quieter neighborhood where he can feel relaxed and confident, and he’s still working on perfecting his leash manners. In return, he’ll shower you with love, stay close, and brighten every day with his mix of smarts, sass, and sweetness. For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Dasher was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Dasher’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Dasher’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Dasher’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
