True to their names, Busy and Rowdy are looking forward to taking their antics with them to your home! They were brought to the city shelter earlier in the summer along with some other siblings, but were found to have ringworm and needed a little time to get their hairs in order (get it...because ringworm can cause some generalized hair loss? no? well, we tried). They're all clear now, so they just need a family to call their own. While in foster care they did get to spend some time around other cats, dogs, and children, and did well enough with all the above to make it work in most situations. Rowdy is more nervous around the unknown, so he'll need a little more patience when making any new friends and would do best around any resident pets, dogs and/or cats, that aren't too pushy or high energy (since he already has his brother Busy for that). They would both be fine with children, just give them enough time to settle if those kids are younger. Once they do find their groove, Busy and Rowdy are cuddly little purr machines that love to play with each other and their people. For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Busy & Rowdy *Bonded Pair* was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Busy & Rowdy *Bonded Pair*’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Busy & Rowdy *Bonded Pair*’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Busy & Rowdy *Bonded Pair*’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
