Meet Mama Cannoli! This gentle tuxedo teen mama was found abandoned in an alley with her three adorable kittens (Biscotti, Pizzelle, and Pignoli). Cannoli is so petite, her finder initially thought she was a kitten, until she went for her spay appointment and learned she was post-partum. Even though Cannoli is a young lady, she is an old and calm soul. She is very sweet and affectionate and loves to get head scritches, especially at feeding time. She's a little more reserved than her sister, Tiramisu, at first but warms up to new people very quickly. Cannoli gets along well with her foster kitty siblings and is an excellent mama to her babies. She is often playing and snuggling with them. She also co-exists well with the human toddler in her foster home. Cannoli would be perfect for almost any home, with or without other kitties, and would especially love to be adopted with her equally adorable daughter, Biscotti who she is particularly close with. For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Cannoli was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Cannoli’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Cannoli’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Cannoli’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
