About this Cat
Are you looking for a handsome and loyal friend to forever be in your corner? Rocky is more than ready to fill that role! Sure to be a quick building and irresistible addiction, Rocky just wants to be by your side and keep you active with his requests for attention and pets. Rocky found his way to PAWS after being surrendered to the city shelter due to the health of his previous owner. Seeing as how he has not been afraid to make his presence known and eagerly tries to make friends with everyone who comes close, Rocky would do well in any home where he can be the center of and get all of the attention you have to spare. The price of admission for that level of devotion is well worth it, we're sure of it. Don't worry, Rocky isn't crying tears of sadness, or of joy, he just has some blocked tears ducts that cause him to have some drainage. He shouldn't need any extension care for that, but you should bring it up with your vet in case he needs drops or additional care for it. Daily needs would just involve going through an extra box of tissues a month, and some extra cuddles to balance it out. Rocky could use some help losing a little weight, and was also recently started on a special presciption diet for urinary care that will need to be continued for the rest of his life. Adopt Rocky and Receive Rocky's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Rocky's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Rocky's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Rocky, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Rocky's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Rocky was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Rocky’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Rocky’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Rocky’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
