Meet Marbles! Marbles was abandoned by her previous owners, but didn’t let that hold her back. She made her way to her foster mom’s home, likely knowing that many kitties like her have found their forever families through her help. With her irresistibly sweet personality, Marbles quickly charmed her way in and became part of the foster family. Marbles is a loving and affectionate girl who enjoys nothing more than basking in the love of her foster humans. She can often be found lounging by the window, watching the world go by from the safety and comfort of her warm foster home. Marbles has been getting along wonderfully the other dogs in her foster home but she's not a huge fan of other cats. Her curious nature and outgoing personality make her a joy to be around, and she’s always eager to meet new people. This sweet girl would thrive as an only cat or in a home with dogs only. She may do okay with a calm male cat who respects her boundaries. As long as she’s surrounded by the love and attention she so deserves, Marbles is a happy gal. For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Marbles was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Marbles’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Marbles’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Marbles’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
