Zoe is a spunky, chatty, sweet girl looking for a loving owner to celebrate her unique personality. She’s very talkative and will see you off at the door when you leave, and greet you at the door when you come home, wanting to hear all about your day! She loves squeezable treats and will show you her appreciation by bringing you a stuffed animal (or two!). She loves to play with wand toys, but is also independent and enjoys simply relaxing. Zoe loves to be around her people and will sometimes meow to check on you and make sure you’re still near and well. When she decides the time is right, she will snuggle up in your lap or on the couch. She also loves to watch TV, both human and cat shows--birds and squirrels are her favorite! Zoe is a gorgeous mix of sass and sophistication, with a splash of goofy-ness. She can get stressed when out of her comfort zone and may respond by getting a bit spicy until she's had time to adjust to any changes. Given how sensitive she is, she would love to settle down in a relaxed environment and would do best as an only pet with an experienced cat parent. For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and A Cat Named Zoe was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, A Cat Named Zoe’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the A Cat Named Zoe’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, A Cat Named Zoe’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
