About this Cat
Cardi is a little love bug. She almost always has a grumpy look on her face, but she is so affectionate and loving. Wherever you are, she is following right behind you wanting attention (as long as she’s not asleep). When she wants pets or attention she lets you know by head butting your hand or arm. She’s not super into playing, but she loves her scratching board. Her favorite spot is sitting on a lap, If she is not sitting on your lap or next to you, she is basking in the sun on a comfy chair or bed. Cardi can be chatty during the day, just letting you know it is time for attention. She has previously had dental surgery, so she only has four teeth left! We just think it makes her look more endearing, though. Cardi has had some tummy issues in the past, and we suspect she has IBD, though as long as she takes her easy once a day steroid and eats her special GI support diet on hand, she does really well. We've also recently started treating her for asthma with a neat little kitty inhaler. If you're looking for a perfect senior friend, Cardi could be the one! Cardi will go home with a THREE MONTH CARE PACKAGE including her medication and special diet! Age: ~13 years old How I came to PAWS: Owner Surrender Animal ID#: A56705 Location: foster care- this pet is not at the shelter! Please email [email protected] to learn more about Cardi!

Adopt Cardi and Receive Cardi's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Cardi's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Cardi's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Cardi, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Cardi's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Cardi was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Cardi’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Cardi’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Cardi’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
