Bruno joined our rescue from southern, WV where he was part of another unwanted litter. We estimate he was born around April 10th. We had a DNA test done and he is 57% husky. His dad is a purebred husky and so were the grandparents. The mom is a mix of boxer, pittie and beagle. Bruno currently weighs 26 lbs and we believe he will grow to be a large dog.Bruno has one blue eye and one brown eye! He is a very sweet puppy and quite social! We have found that he is much like your typical husky with traits. He loves to talk; loves people; has energy; and can be quite stubborn...lol. He really enjoys playing in the water, going for walks, and romping with the other dogs. His house training is making progress, but still needs continued work. We will be honest...he hates the crate!!! Bruno is fine with children, but he can be puppy mouthy....so, please keep that in mind if you have young kids.Bruno is current on vaccines, dewormed and current on flea/tick preventative. For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Bruno was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Bruno’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Bruno’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Bruno’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
