About this Dog
Fostered in Anderson SC Meet Walter, a 9 1/2 year old beautiful Havenese who has lived his entire life on a puppy mill. Walter is sweet and gentle but still learning that not all humans are horrible. He’s extremely dog friendly and kind. Walter is healthy, neutered and UTD on vaccinations. He had a dental and 20 rotted teeth were removed making him feel immediately better in his mouth. He has learned the value of a dog bed and loves them!!! Walter is enjoying his life free and safe from any abuse. He will require someone who is patient and committed with his process of learning to trust people. He loves helping you in the kitchen and getting snacks so that goes a long way establishing that relationship! He will require a fenced yard and a dog friendly dog as a buddy. He is currently wearing a belly band inside while he hones his potty skills and will come with a supply. He does use a potty pad and will also go outside. Walter is one of the good guys who very much deserves a family of his very own. To adopt Walter, please complete an adoption application at peacelovepoms.rescuegroups.org. The $350 adoption donation ($250 for senior citizens 65+) includes core vaccines (Rabies, Parvo/Distemper, and Bordatella), Accuplex (Heart worm and Lyme test), fecal, microchip, bloodwork, neuter, dental, and all the love you can handle! Adopt Walter and Receive Walter's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Walter's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$20 is Walter's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Walter, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Walter's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Walter was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Walter’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Walter’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Walter’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
