Mia is a petite little elegantly marked beautiful older kitten. Mia was found as part of a colony and was very pregnant when she came into care. Unfortunately, not to any fault of Mias, she birthed 4 tiny babies who all died within hours of her having them. When she was looked at by a vet for a wellness exam, it was found to be she was just a baby herself, possibly 8-9 months of age. So sad for Mia to have gone through that however, also very happy in that she will never have to go through it again. Mia currently lives with 3 dogs and other foster kitties in a home in Palmyra. She gets along with everyone. She took a day to warm up to her new surroundings, but then was very curious and joined in the household. Mia is very laid back for an older kitten. She likes to be where her people are and especially enjoys being on the catio watching the bird feeders and sleeping away her day. Upon meeting new people, she is a bit uncertain, but once she knows you she is a joy to be around. She would do best if she were in a home with older children, young children seem to be too much for her. Mia's adoption donation is 135.00 which includes age-appropriate vaccines, dewormer, flea treatment, Felv/FIV testing, microchip and spay. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Mia (simply elegant older kitten) was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Mia (simply elegant older kitten)’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Mia (simply elegant older kitten)’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Mia (simply elegant older kitten)’s balance will remain in our general fund.
