Birthday: July 29, 2024 Sunni's situation was the result of human failure. She became a mom too young and lived outside in the harsh environment. Despite how everything happened, Sunni has always loved humans. She's not a fan of being picked up, but she makes up for it by being incredibly affectionate! She'll rub herself all over people in the hopes of receiving pets! She would make anyone starving for attention feel loved within a matter of seconds! Sunni's friendliness isn't limited to humans either! She enjoys other kitties and gets along with them well. Her best friend, Annie, was in a similar situation, and they seemed to have formed a comradery over their experiences. Sunni's adoption donation is $115 and includes age-appropriate vaccines, dewormer, flea treatment, Felv/FIV testing, microchip, and spay. Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Sunni's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Sunni was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Sunni’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Sunni’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Sunni’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
