Birthday: April 20, 2025 Haggar was one of the last litters that were rescued from an intense situation. Tenants in Ephrata were vacated from their home as demolition of the property was scheduled the following day. The home was a cat colony, filled to the brim with kitties with no place to go. Rescuers were quickly called out to the property to save them before they tore down the house. Thankfully, Haggar was rescued in the nick of time! Haggar is a dream child for anyone who wants the perfect mix of adorable and silly! This black fuzz ball loves to play with other kitties, and he wouldn't mind having a feline friend waiting for him in his new home (if there is one)! If he isn't playing with other kitties, he might be in someone's arms. That's right! This boy loves to be held; as long as he's close to you, he's the happiest kitty on the planet! And when it's time to expend some of that energy? Catnip toys are his number one choice! Haggar's adoption donation is $135 and includes age-appropriate vaccines, dewormer, flea treatment, Felv/FIV testing, microchip, and neuter. For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Haggar was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Haggar’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Haggar’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Haggar’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
