Birthday: February 24, 2022 Meet Gypsy, a diamond in the rough, well on her way to becoming a true jewel! Gypsy came into rescue as a surrender, and she wasn’t happy about being abandoned – but who would? She didn’t want much attention at first, but she’s decided that she deserves better than she got the first time around, and has been polishing herself off in preparation for the perfect home. This gorgeous, bunny-soft, gray petite girl loves to play. Get out a wand toy and prepare for a show! She’ll spend hours relaxing by a window, napping or checking out the comings and goings outside. Curious, confident, independent – that’s Gypsy! She’s learning to enjoy laps, and she loves snuggling next to you and binge watching tv. She enjoys being pet, but will let you know when she needs a little “me” time, and will just swoon over a guardian who reads kitty body language, and gives her introverted time when she needs some. Gypsy’s looking for a very special person who can help her finish bringing that shiny, beautiful diamond out to the surface – maybe that’s you? Gypsy’s ideal would be a home where she is queen of the castle, with no other kitties as competition, though she did okay in foster care with one cat who had no interest in interacting with her. She’s fine with well-behaved dogs as well. She wants a quiet home, probably with mostly adults; older, considerate and cat-savvy kids might be okay. She’s very easy to care for – not a picky eater, and perfect litter box habits. Give her a cozy kitty bed and she’s a happy camper. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Gypsy (sweet and sophisticated)’s balance will remain in our general fund.
