ENERGETIC AND GENTLE KITTEN Meow! I'm Calypso, and my estimated birthday is April 27, 2025. Despite my small size, I'm the whole package: playful, gentle, affectionate, adaptable, and more! Firstly, I love meeting new people and will never shy away from love. While I don't seek attention out frequently, I do expect you to come to me and start petting me! I can be held, too, but I would much rather be running around and playing. I am a very active kitten (even more than the average kitten!) who will play with anything and everything I can get my paws on. Toys? Definitely! Cat towers? Always! A random furball? Why not! When I'm not playing with toys (or something else), I'm running around and exploring. I don't necessarily need to be chasing after something, I just like to run and will happily run around a room just to do it! After playing, I'll take long, deep naps and will happily snuggle up with you. Also, I'm a very confident little boy. I could care less about being "small" or "just a baby," I'm very self-assured! I'll run headfirst into new spaces, ignoring any caution I should have. Whenever volunteers open my cage, I'll immediately dart out to see what I could do or who I could meet! If you couldn't tell already, I'm very curious and sometimes a little too much. I'm in rescue with my sister Harmony--we love to play and sleep together! Whne we're not snuggling, she helps keep me entertained! I'm great with other cats and children, but I do not have experience with dogs. I am at the Kitty Corner, ready to meet you today!

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Calypso was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Calypso’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Calypso’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Calypso’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
