TINY, TENACIOUS, AND FULL OF HEART — MEET DOLCE! Meow! My name is Dolce, and I’m a dainty little delight with a big personality and an even bigger heart. Born around June 2, 2024, I’m still a young kitty—but don’t let my size fool you! I’m overflowing with affection, charm, and cheerful energy. From the moment I meet you, I’ll greet you with a happy squeak and loving eyes, eager to share all the sweetness I have to offer. I’m incredibly friendly and social—I warm up quickly to new people and never miss a chance to snuggle up or rub against your leg to remind you I’m there (and ready for attention!). I’m gentle and respectful in how I show my love, always mindful of the energy around me. Whether it’s following you around the room, or talking to you in soft, endearing chirps, I’m all about connection. I also have a wonderfully playful streak. Toys are a source of endless amusement, and my goofy, curious nature means I’m always finding joy in the smallest things—be it a jingling ball, a crinkled paper, or a sunbeam to chase. I’m petite in frame but full of personality, and I have a special talent for making people smile. I’m currently in rescue with my best buddy Gabbana. While we don’t have to be adopted together, we do make a delightful duo full of love and laughter. I get along well with other cats and am comfortable around children who treat me kindly. I’ve been around dogs and handled it well, though I’d likely do best with calm, respectful pups who won’t invade my space. Right now, I’m waiting patiently at Kitty Corner, ready to bring joy, love, and a few silly squeaks into your life. For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Dolce was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Dolce’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Dolce’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Dolce’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
