GENTLE SPIRIT WITH PLAYFUL JOY Meow! My name is Sepia, born September 25, 2023. I’m a quietly sweet and gentle girl with a calm, even temperament that makes me a soothing presence in any home. At first, I may be a little shy and cautious—new places can feel overwhelming—but with gentle patience and soft words, I quickly learn to relax and welcome affection. Play is one of my greatest joys, especially when catnip toys are involved. I delight in the light flutter of feathers and the gentle jingle of bells, letting my playful side shine through with graceful pounces and curious swats. I’m still getting comfortable here at the rescue, and the kind volunteers are slowly uncovering my subtle charms and unique personality. I share this new chapter alongside my dear friend Sienna, and I’m happy to say I get along well with other cats, enjoying quiet companionship and gentle camaraderie. Though I haven’t yet met dogs or children, I’d flourish best in a serene, loving home where kindness and patience help me blossom into the affectionate companion I’m meant to be. For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Sepia was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Sepia’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Sepia’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Sepia’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
