GENTLE GENTLEMEN WITH HEARTS OF GOLD Meow! We’re Milo and Otis—brothers by birth, best friends by choice, and a perfectly paired duo in search of our forever home. Born on February 22, 2022, we’re a bonded pair of handsome, sweet-natured boys who bring out the best in each other and everyone we meet. Let’s start with Otis—he’s the social butterfly of the two. With his luxurious long black-and-white fur, dazzling emerald eyes, and a charming little black dot on his nose, he’s impossible to resist. Otis greets new visitors with enthusiasm, never shy about saying hello or chiming in with his signature squeaky meow. He’s outgoing, curious, and always ready for a gentle pet or a cozy nap near his people. Milo, on the other paw, is our calm and quiet soul. He has a stunning medium-length white coat adorned with soft orange tabby markings and warm golden eyes that seem to glow when the sun hits them just right. While he’s more reserved than his brother, he melts under a gentle hand and enjoys lounging peacefully in “loaf mode,” surveying the world with quiet wisdom. Milo doesn’t often seek out attention, but when you give it, he accepts it with gratitude and grace. We’re both low-key boys who prefer lounging and exploring to high-energy play. Toys don’t really interest us—we’d rather sunbathe, investigate cozy corners, or curl up somewhere soft and safe. We do need a little time to adjust to new environments and may initially seem a bit shut down, but with patience, soft voices, and kind hands, our personalities blossom beautifully. We have sensitive tummies and are currently on a strict dry food diet—no wet food or treats for us, please! Our ideal home would be quiet and predictable, ideally with older children who understand our gentle, sometimes timid nature. While we get along well with other respectful cats, we haven’t had experience with dogs. We must be adopted together and take great comfort in each other’s presence—where one goes, the other is never too far behind. We’re currently waiting at Kitty Corner, dreaming of a warm, loving home where we can spend our days curled up together. Could that home be yours?

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Milo & Otis (BONDED) was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Milo & Otis (BONDED)’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Milo & Otis (BONDED)’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Milo & Otis (BONDED)’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
