Our estimated birthday is February 16, 2023, and we’ve spent every moment of our lives side by side. We love like brothers, play like brothers… and yes, we roughhouse like brothers too! But don’t let our wrestling matches fool you—we’re two of the gentlest souls you’ll ever meet. We’re both incredibly sweet and mild-mannered, with soft purrs and soft hearts to match. While we can be a bit timid at first, we warm up with patience—and once we trust you, we’ll nuzzle your hand for pets, press into your touch, and even roll over for belly rubs. We’re calm, quiet, and observant boys who would thrive in a peaceful home where we can take our time getting comfortable. Though we're still figuring out how toys work, we’re beginning to explore the joy of play—and we always feel braver when we’re together. Our bond gives us courage, and our personalities shine brightest when we’re in each other’s company. We both have soft, plush coats that require regular grooming to keep us looking and feeling our best. Brushing us isn’t just a necessity—it’s also a lovely way to bond with us as we settle into your home. We’re good with other cats, but haven’t met any dogs yet. Because we’re easily startled, we’d do best in a home without young children. A calm, quiet environment will help us continue to come out of our shells and show you just how loving and loyal we truly are. For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Sonic & Shadow (Bonded) was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Sonic & Shadow (Bonded)’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Sonic & Shadow (Bonded)’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Sonic & Shadow (Bonded)’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
