AFFECTIONATE CHATTERBOX WITH A PLAYFUL SPIRIT Meow! I’m Plum, born April 28, 2022, and my story began when a kind volunteer from Forever Love Rescue found me living outside. Since then, I’ve blossomed into a sweet, talkative companion who never misses a chance to say hello—actually, a thousand hellos! I’m a lover through and through, always ready to greet my humans with gentle head rubs and soft purrs. I express my affection in my own special way: by softly licking your hands, my way of saying “thank you” for all the love and care you give me. When I’m feeling playful, watch out—I’m a laser-chasing pro! The elusive red dot has become my favorite game, and I often treat my audience to some daring wall “parkour” as I leap and bound in pursuit. Sometimes I get a little clumsy—my feet move faster than my brain—but that never slows down my enthusiasm! When I’m not busy chasing beams of light, you’ll find me perched by the window, intently watching birds with a soft chatter of excitement—almost like I’m trying to hold my own conversation with my feathered friends. I haven’t yet had the chance to meet dogs, and I’m a bit cautious around new cats, so a slow, gentle introduction to other pets would help me settle in best. Despite my occasional tumbles and shy moments, my heart is overflowing with love and curiosity. I’m ready to bring joy, warmth, and companionship to a patient, loving forever family. For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Plum was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Plum’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Plum’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Plum’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
