I carry myself with quiet elegance and a gentle soul that shines brightest once I feel safe and cherished. While I may be a little reserved at first, beneath my shy exterior lies an affectionate, loving companion just waiting to blossom. I adore gentle pets and will happily curl up in your lap—when the mood strikes, of course! I'm independent, yet deeply loyal once I trust you. I find pure bliss in life’s coziest comforts: soaking up the sunshine in a quiet window nook, snuggling into a soft, warm blanket, or savoring a tasty treat (I never say no to snacks!). I have a calm and easygoing nature that makes me an ideal fit for a serene home. I get along well with other cats and respectful children. Dogs, however, can make me a bit nervous—so a dog-free home, or one with a calm and cat-savvy pup, would be best for me. For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Evee was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Evee’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Evee’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Evee’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
