About this Dog
Say hello to Finch â the floppy, wild-eared wonder pup whoâs winning hearts left and right! Finch came to us as a stray, but youâd never guess it from his happy-go-lucky puppy vibes. Letâs talk about those ears for a second: they stand tall like satellite dishes but bend in just enough to touch over his head â like a fuzzy little crown he hasnât quite grown into yet. Itâs pure puppy magic, and yes, theyâre as charming in person as they sound. Finch is sweet, curious, and just starting to explore the world â a little clumsy, very cuddly, and totally ready to find a place to call home. He recently had a cleft palate repair, so heâll need a little extra care as he finishes healing. Because of that, heâs available as a foster-to-adopt â meaning you get to welcome him home now, with our support, and officially adopt once heâs cleared by our vet team! Silly, sweet, and ready for love Finch is the full package â unique, adorable, and totally one-of-a-kind. Come meet him and prepare to fall in love (and probably take a few dozen ear pics)!Few can resist a puppy. These adorable, soft bundles of energy are similar to four-legged children with tails. And like children, puppies need a lot of time, care, love, and patience. A puppy will depend on you for frequent and regular feedings and walks, for guidance and training, and for much of your time and your love. Before you plunge into puppy parenthood, make sure to research! There are many rewards to caring for a puppy, but there are also many requirements. Puppy classes are highly recommended for socialization and a positive transition into your home. Puppies love to learn how to be the best dog for your family! If this dog has been successful in our play groups it is not a guarantee that a dog will be social with other dogs in their home or in public settings. Dogs are individuals and have personality conflicts, just like us. Play groups do not guarantee that territorial or resource guarding issues will not surface in the home. While play groups do help us get to know the dog's better, once they are adopted their new environments and new relationships will influence their behavior in ways we cannot predict. The Adoption Fee Includes:- initial canine distemper combination vaccination- first worming or stool check- rabies vaccination (for animals over 3 months of age)- 24 Petwatch microchipping- flea treatment/preventative- spaying or neutering-heartworm testingAdoption fee: $235.00Per state law, ALL ADOPTERS must purchase a non-refundable 2025 dog license at time of adoption for any canine three months and older. The cost of the license is $9.20. (Senior Citizen or Person with Disability-$7.20)All dogs come with free leash and collar.

100% of FINCH's balance will be sent to whoever adopts FINCH.
Adopt FINCH and Receive FINCH's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, FINCH's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is FINCH's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the FINCH, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming FINCH's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and FINCH was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, FINCH’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the FINCH’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, FINCH’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
