About this Cat
Hello! I'm new to the shelter! This is what my foster had to day about me!Her favorite activities are darting across the long room, chasing balls, and sliding into things, especially an automatic feather floor toy that simulates a mouse. She is bold and brave and likes to climb the cat tree and cages, but not too high. She is not a âwild childâ but a rather a âcutey pieâ. She naps comfortably in a soft kitty bed and purrs, kisses, and plays with dangling hair⦠she can self-entertain herself, but would also do well with another cat or kitten. She looks up at her handler with âmelt in your armsâ big eyes. She came to the shelter as a âsingletonâ. There did not seem to be any siblings with her.One of the biggest and most exciting times in anyone's life is adopting a new kitten! Cats can live well over 12 years, and will need a lifetime of love, care, commitment, and patience. Before plunging into kitten parenthood, make sure to research! There are many rewards to caring for a kitten, but there are also many requirements. The Adoption Fee Includes:- initial feline distemper combination vaccination- first deworming or stool check- rabies vaccination (for animals over 3 months of age)-24 Petwatch microchipping- flea treatment/preventative- spaying or neuteringAdoption Fee: $120.00FELV/FIV testing offered for additional cost of $35.00. 100% of CHIRP's balance will be sent to whoever adopts CHIRP.
Adopt CHIRP and Receive CHIRP's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, CHIRP's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is CHIRP's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the CHIRP, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming CHIRP's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and CHIRP was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, CHIRP’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the CHIRP’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, CHIRP’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
