About this Cat
Meet Forrest- our tail-free treasure! Forrest has been with BCHS for some time healing from significant injuries that have left him without a tail and a little special needs. He has become quite close with our medical team and this is what they have to say about Forrest:Run, Forrest, run?Not without a little help and alot of miralax. Meet Forrest- a brave little soul who's missing a tail, but not personality. While most cats use their tails for balance, Forrest just uses his pure determination, inner grace, and occasionally your favorite chair. But wait-- there's more!Forrest is not only tail-challenged, but also occassionally traffic-jammed in the digestive department. That's right. He's constipated. Not always. But enough that we consider him both a cat and a lesson in patience. His ideal family would be one that doesn't mind talking about poop more often than they thought they would and finds joy in helping a small, constipated warrior live his best life. He loves playing and wrestling with other cats and would love other furry companions to cause choas with. Adopt Forrest. Because love doesn't always come in neat little packages- and neither does he. The Adoption Fee Includes:- initial feline distemper combination vaccination- first deworming or stool check- rabies vaccination (for animals over 3 months of age)- 24 Petwatch microchipping- flea treatment/preventative- spaying or neuteringAdoption Cost: $75.00FELV/FIV Testing provided for an additional fee of $35.00. Encouraged for multi cat household.

100% of FORREST's balance will be sent to whoever adopts FORREST.
Adopt FORREST and Receive FORREST's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, FORREST's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is FORREST's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the FORREST, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming FORREST's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and FORREST was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, FORREST’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the FORREST’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, FORREST’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
