***Adoption Pending*** Goose is a sweet chubby bear. He loves to watch and observe. He especially likes to be by people, sit by you, stare at you, lay by you. Although he loves other dogs, humans are his favorite. Goose is such a sweet soul and steals hearts along the way. He’s very calm and loves a good nap. Goose is in process of being potty trained and learning basic commands. His weight is as of July 3rd. We discovered that Goose had early signs of hip dysplasia. Thanks to our generous donors, Goose recently had surgery and has recovered nicely. This surgery gives him the best chance at minimizing a risk of arthritis pain in the future. He is currently enjoying the good life with a foster in Gresham, OR while waiting for his furever home that will be full of cuddles and adventures.

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and GOOSE (Adoption Pending) was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, GOOSE (Adoption Pending)’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the GOOSE (Adoption Pending)’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, GOOSE (Adoption Pending)’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
