About this
Bugz is a nervous bunny but is very food motivated. She is very slow to trust and does not like to be picked up off the ground. But with consistency and patience she opens up. When she is comfortable, she LOVES to run through the house in full blown zoomies, jumping straight in the air and changing directions. She has been around both cats and dogs with very little reaction to them at all other than occasionally playing with the cat. (Which is something quite interesting to watch) In addition, she has had much exposure to children as I have 3 of my own, one who is very young and my ex's daughter so for most of her life had lived in a home with 4 children. Needless to say, is quite used to a lot of noise and little hands. She was my ex boy-friends, daughters pet but when he moved out, he did not want to take her with him, and I am unable to provide a happy, healthy life for her as I am a single mother of 3 children working a more than full time job. I feel horrible that she does not get the attention that she deserves and needs to live a full and healthy life. One of her favorite treats is grapes. When I bring them to her cage, she is always standing up on her hind legs taking chomps of them before I even get the chance to set them all the way down.

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Bugz was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Bugz’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Bugz’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Bugz’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
