Foxy, Felix and Ferris came to us when we were contacted by a neighbor of their owner. They owner just let the mom run free without having her spayed. They told the person that contacted us they could have the kittens and they didn't care if she wanted to have mom fixed but they weren't doing it. We had mom spayed and sent her back home and provided information for low cost spays/neuteres of their other cats. Of course the family that contacted us, will probably be the ones taking care of that as well. The person that contacted us had taken two of the kittens and cared for them until they were old enough to be weaned. Then they found another neighbor had taken in a third kitten. We reunited the kittens and started their vet care. They are sweet, playful kittens and deserve a much better life then they were born to. They are FIV/Leukemia negative, current on vaccines, flea and worm treated and microchip. Their approx. DOB is 4/1/2025.

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Felix was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Felix’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Felix’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Felix’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
