Hi everyone! My name is Rocket and I’m ready for my furever home. I am a 7 year old yorkie mix. I weigh about 6lbs so I fit perfectly snuggled up on your lap. My life so far has not been great but I’m thankful to be rescued and safe. As you can see I’m missing some hair. I had a very bad flea infestation and it was VERY itchy. Thank goodness they are all gone and my hair is starting to grow back! I may be timid when I first meet you but I warm up very quickly. I love cats and other dogs. Big dogs scare me at first but I eventually warm up to them too. I love people especially the kids in my foster home. I’m wonderful in my crate and I go potty outside. My foster family says I’m perfect! I hope to find my furever family soon!

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Rocket Raccoon was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Rocket Raccoon’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Rocket Raccoon’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Rocket Raccoon’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
