DOB: 7/21/2021 Once upon a time, a gentle little calico named Nala was rescued from a tough start. She found a home, but it wasn’t quite the right fit — and now she’s hoping her next chapter will be her forever one. Nala is a soft-hearted, affectionate soul who blooms when she feels safe. Call her name in a cheerful, high-pitched voice and she’ll come trotting over, tail high, ready for conversation and (her absolute favorite) belly rubs. She loves being brushed — at least on her tummy — and will happily spend a quiet afternoon with her person. She’s a lady who knows what she likes: calm, polite cats? Yes please. Loud, chaotic homes? Not so much. What she’s really wishing for is a peaceful, stable home where she can take her time settling in. Nala’s smile is as sweet as her personality — but it does need extra care. She’s had moderate dental problems in the past (now taken care of), so she’ll need an adopter who’s familiar with feline dental care and ready to be proactive with things like water additives, dental chews, tooth brushing, and regular vet visits. For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Nala was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Nala’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Nala’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Nala’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
