About this Cat
DOB:11/1/2021 Ronan’s journey began when he was found as a stray in November 2024. From the moment he arrived, his affectionate nature and gentle spirit shone through. This handsome orange-and-white boy loves nothing more than pets, attention, and—most importantly—wet food and Churu treats (he’ll be your best friend instantly if you have one in hand!). Ronan has tested positive for FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus). FIV is a slow-acting virus that affects a cat’s immune system over time, making them a bit more vulnerable to infections. But here’s the good news—Feline Immunodeficiency Virus positive cats can live normal lives both in quality and duration. They do take special care in terms of monitoring them for signs of infection. FIV can be passed from cat to cat via deep bite wounds, but not from casual contact so positive cats can live with negative cats without the fear of spreading FIV as long as they get along and are spayed/neutered. For more information about FIV – feline immunodeficiency virus visit this website: https://bestfriends.org/resources/fiv-cats-faqs-feline-immunodeficiency-virus Right now, Ronan is in good health, moderately active, and ready to bring warmth, love, and a little treat-powered joy to his forever home. If you’ve been looking for a loyal, food-motivated companion who will brighten every day, Ronan might just be your guy. Come meet me at Petco Easton! All cats are spayed or neutered, vaccinated and tested for FIV/FeLV. **If interested in adopting me, please fill out an online adoption application at https://colonycats.org/adoption_app.html to expedite the process. Due to the large number of inquiries received, we are unable to respond to emails quickly.**

Adopt Ronan and Receive Ronan's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Ronan's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Ronan's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Ronan, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Ronan's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Ronan was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Ronan’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Ronan’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Ronan’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
