🐾 Meet Dakota 🐾 Looking for a new, loving home due to personal hardship! Dakota is a beautiful 3.5-year-old Pitbull mix (DOB: 12/04/2021) with a huge personality and an even bigger heart. She’s full of energy, super goofy, and always ready to play. Raised alongside Chihuahuas, she definitely thinks she’s a small dog—which adds to her charm (and her clumsiness)! She loves other animals and has been raised around both dogs and cats with no issues. Dakota is also great with kids, but she doesn’t always realize how strong or big she is, so a home with older children is ideal. She’s bonded with her best buddy Scooby, and ideally, we’d love for them to be adopted together—but we’re open to the right individual placement if it means she’ll thrive. A few things to know: -She’s not a fan of car rides, nail trims, or bugs. -Despite being fed the vet’s recommended amount, we’ve had a hard time maintaining a healthy weight for her -Dakota is spayed and up-to-date on her rabies shots. Dakota will come with: -an elevated bowl set -a leash -collars + harness -rabies tag -spay information/medical history She would do best in a home with plenty of space to roam, play, and be her true self. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Dakota “KodaBear” Jean was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Dakota “KodaBear” Jean’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Dakota “KodaBear” Jean’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Dakota “KodaBear” Jean’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
