About this Cat
This little nugget evaded capture in the snow until the ultimate weapon was brought out...wet food. Thankfully, Sasha loves wet food and treats enough to reduce her initial ferocity. Oudoors she protected her kittens and lived in the mindset of self-preservation, chasing off other community felines that came near her or the food bowl. She was a hisser and swatter, unsure of the intent of the hands that reached out to her. In less than a month in a foster home, it can be seen who she is, a very sassy, independent, lovey, chatty girl. She LOVES to play, especially with people and wand toys so she can hunt them as she runs through her tunnel after them. She'll still hiss once in a while...when you put away the toy, when you put away the treats or when you firmly tell her no. No swats, no claws, she'll hiss and flip up her tail and saunter away...so I pick her up and kiss her. She can be a talker. If she wants you somewhere else, she'll tell you and dance around until you follow. She has no fear. She greets strangers and encourages them to scratch her head for entry to her space. Of course, she has to sniff the hands first to make sure there is no foreign cat smell (she currently makes a face if there is). Her foster home has permanent feline residents, and she seems more afraid than curious and hisses at them. Currently, she would do best as an only cat and while she has never been in the company of a dog I imagine that wouldn't be a good idea. If she is in a stressful situation she can be picked up and carried away but doesn't currently like being held for prolonged periods...but we work on this every day. Cats were worshiped in ancient Egypt and somebody apparently told her this. She is really a unique girl and ready to rule her furever home...and family. Adoption is $150 which includes her spay, age-appropriate vaccines, microchip and current monthly prevention. To fill out an application for this animal or a general application click HERE.

Adopt Sasha and Receive Sasha's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Sasha's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Sasha's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Sasha, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Sasha's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Sasha was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Sasha’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Sasha’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Sasha’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
