Mew Mew is a quiet, tender-hearted sweetheart who lives for love and attention. It may take her a few days to trust you, but once she does—she’s all in. She thrives in a calm, loving home with people around often, as she really doesn’t like being alone for long. If you’re looking for a companion to share your day, your blanket, and your heart, Mew Mew is your girl. She’d enjoy being an only cat or having one or two calm companions her age (she's around 2). Young, rowdy kittens? Not her scene. Her dream home has a cozy spot to watch the world go by, a tree to climb, and a person to sit with during quiet moments. She loves gentle play with a laser pointer or fuzzy wand toy, and she’s recently started making biscuits and giving sweet nose bumps. Mew Mew takes change hard, so she is on a special diet that she loves, she eats Hills Science Diet kitten food (chicken) to help with recent weight loss. She prefers Fancy Feast pâté, especially the fishy ones—with just a touch of water. Affectionate but independent, she may sit on your lap or let you pick her up briefly, but she’ll let you know what she’s comfortable with. One thing’s for sure—this loving girl has so much warmth and companionship to give. Mew Mew is spayed, microchipped, up to date on vaccines, routinely treated for fleas and worms, and tested negative for FIV/FeLV and heartworm. Her estimated DOB is 8/11/2023. For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Mew Mew was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Mew Mew’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Mew Mew’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Mew Mew’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
