About this Cat
Cher is a striking cat with a big personality and an independent streak. She’s had a tough time adjusting to her current environment, and her guardian has made the incredibly difficult decision to find her a home that better suits her needs. Cher thrives in a low-stress, animal-free environment where she can feel safe, respected, and in control of her space. She’s been sensitive to handling and change, and when overwhelmed, she can struggle. Her previous home—with other small pets and activity—has proven to be a bit too much for her comfort, and it’s caused her anxiety to show through in ways she can’t quite control. This girl will do best with a patient, cat-savvy adopter who understands that some animals need extra time, space, and understanding. With the right environment, there’s hope she’ll blossom into the confident companion we know she can be. If you’re experienced with more sensitive or independent cats and have a calm home to offer, Cher just might be the unique companion you’ve been looking for. Cher is spayed, microchipped, up to date on vaccines and tested negative for FIV/FeLV and heartworm. Her estimated DOB is 10/26/2021. Cher is on a special psyllium husk diet. Adopt Cher and Receive Cher's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Cher's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Cher's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Cher, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Cher's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Cher was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Cher’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Cher’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Cher’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
