Meet Blu! Blu is a handsome 6-year-old silver poodle who is full of love and character, and he's ready to find his forever home. This sweet boy is neutered, house-trained (as long as he’s let out regularly), and loves spending time with people—just not men! What makes Blu special? Blu is incredibly affectionate and loves to be by your side, but he’s definitely not a fan of men. He’s been known to bark at the sound of a man’s voice, even on speakerphone. If you live in an apartment, keep in mind that Blu also barks when he hears the key in the door—he’s a great little watchdog, but it could be an issue in shared living spaces. Over the past month, Blu has shown his playful side. He loves toys and will even bring the ball back during a game of fetch! He thrives in a quiet, calm environment and is best suited for a home without small children. Blu has some vision problems, and he occasionally walks in circles, which could be related to his past. Because of his vision and special needs, a fenced-in yard is a must to keep him safe. Blu would do best in a home where someone is around most of the time to give him the attention and love he craves. Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Blu's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Blu was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Blu’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.

In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Blu’s balance will remain in our general Dogecoin fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
