About this Cat
Hello: My wife Sylwia, being the ever compassionate emotional nurturing person that she is, bought a Siberian grey cat from upstate New York a few years ago, not knowing that the “breeder” is now well known for selling sick cats to the general public for $2500 or more. Either way, soon after purchase, the vet noticed that Pepper had FIPS, but instead of “putting her to sleep,” my wife opted to save her with medication. Today, Pepper is free of FIPS, but occasionally has seizures and poops in the wrong places all over the house. We didn’t want to find her a new home because we didn’t want to traumatize our now 5 year old son, but now that mom and son are visiting her home country of Poland as they do every summer, we think now is the best time to find Pepper a new, better home, where maybe someone with more time, devotion, nurturing, and patience could care for him better. We have 3 other pets (2 cats and 1 pug) that are very happy, healthy, and well adjusted, but they simply don’t mix well with Pepper who has a great deal of anxiety because of her experiences. To that end, please advise if you can come pick Pepper up to find him a better home - we are at 270 Victory Boulevard, New Rochelle NY 10804, and my cellphone is (646) 645-0993. Thanks,

Adopt Pepper and Receive Pepper's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Pepper's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$7 is Pepper's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Pepper, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Pepper's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Pepper was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Pepper’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Pepper’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Pepper’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
