Betsy and Liberty were surrendered to us on the 4th of July, and their names are a nod to the day they began their new journey. Since then, they’ve blossomed in foster care—growing braver, more affectionate, and full of charm.Liberty is an outgoing, friendly purr-machine who loves to climb into your arms and shower you with affection. Betsy is the more reserved of the two—she can be shy at first, but when you hold her close, she melts into your arms and soaks up the love.These sweet kittens are incredibly cat-social and thrive with feline companionship. We’d love to see them adopted together, but at the very least, they should go to homes with other young, friendly cats to grow and play with. After all the progress they’ve made, Liberty and Betsy are ready to bring joy, playfulness, and love to their forever families.

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Betsy was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Betsy’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Betsy’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Betsy’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
