About this Cat
George is a 3-year-old cat who enjoys his space and prefers a peaceful, low-stress environment. He’s not one for constant attention, but he appreciates the quiet presence of humans. George has been with us since July 2023, when we took him in as a kitten from another rescue. He was under-socialized when he first arrived, and despite our best efforts, he’s never fully had the opportunity to trust, but we truly believe a calm loving home will help with that.George is inquisitive and curious about humans, and he’s become comfortable walking around us and observing from a safe distance. However, he still remains quite shy.George is extremely sweet and affectionate with other cats. He loves being around them, often cuddling, eating, and hanging out together. Having grown up indoors, he’s not suited for an indoor/outdoor life and would do best in a multi-cat household where he can continue to socialize with his feline friends.George needs a cat-savvy adopter who understands that while he may never be a lap cat, he shows his appreciation and happiness in other ways. With patience and the right environment, George will thrive in a calm, cat-friendly home where he can continue to blossom on his own terms.

100% of George's balance will be sent to whoever adopts George.
Adopt George and Receive George's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, George's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is George's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the George, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming George's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and George was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, George’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the George’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, George’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
