Xavier was born around July 1, 2018 and weighs about 10 pounds. Xavier has been a stud for a backyard breeder for most of his life, and we are so happy we have been allowed to find him a real home. Xavier is incredibly well-adjusted and a happy-go-lucky kind of dude! Xavier will stick with you when doing chores outside and adores his humans. Xavier is fantastic with other dogs and doesn't mind cats. We don't have children around here, but we can't imagine he would have an issue living with them. Xavier rode well on the short car ride to Joyful and was a champ about getting his face trimmed when he arrived. This is all we know so far and we will be learning as we go, and so will you. The Adoption Fee for this dog is $_500.00_______. Adoptions fees vary based on adoptability. In general our fees include spay/neuter, all age appropriate vaccines, Home Again micro-chipping & registration, worming & flea control - a "complete" pet. We accept CASH or Visa/Mastercard ONLY. Joyful Rescues has no funding except for our adoption fees and miscellaneous donations. Pet care and vet bills are expensive - you must be ready to take on this financial (as well as emotional) responsibility. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Xavier Brown was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Xavier Brown’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Xavier Brown’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Xavier Brown’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
