Hello, Iâm Mr. Valentine! My friends just call me Valentine. Mr. is so formal and I am so NOT formal! Iâm more free-spirited, bouncy, sunny and upbeat! I make people laugh with my happy unbounded vigor. Iâm always looking for something fun to do â like wrestle with a toy or make a new buddy! Making friends is kind of my speciality. I love playing with people and other dogs. Romping around with a doggy pal and tugging on stuffies is my idea of an awesome day! Top that off with some delicious treats and I wonât be able to stop smiling! The only thing that would make an absolutely perfect day would be to have all those things in my own home. Not too much to ask in my opinion. Iâve been at the shelter almost 6 months already.Everyone who knows me canât believe itâs taking so long for someone to scoop me up. Iâm totally handsome, super playful and very lovable. Iâm smart, too! I know how to sit, give paw and lay down. Sometimes I get the prompts mixed up in my head â but they are in there â dancing around with visions of frolicking & cookies! Iâm only 9 months old and need time to learn. Iâm looking for a patient, active person who can give me all their love, attention and guidance. Do you have the energy and experience to raise an adorable puppy? Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Mr.Valentine's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Mr.Valentine was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Mr.Valentine’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Mr.Valentine’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Mr.Valentine’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
