About this Dog
`People are always drawn to my boyish charm. They say, âBuddy, your happy face, wiggly butt and fun personality are simply irresistible!â I donât blame them. Itâs easy to get pulled into my dazzling aura! Itâs my bright spirit that kept me going in my darkest moments. You may not know it to look at me but things didnât start out so well for me. Earlier this year I was rescued from a bad hoarding situation in The South. I was chained outside alongside many other dogs. We were out in the elements day and night. We were neglected, lonely and miserable. It was a scary place. I didnât know if I would make it out. Most of the other dogs were sick with heartworm but I was lucky â I was not.The day I was taken off that property, hope bloomed inside of me. I finally had something to smile about. I traveled all the way to New York for a fresh beginning. I was a little shy at first but quickly warmed up to everyone who told me what a good boy I was. I have so many friends now and get so excited to see them. I just want to jump into their arms for affection! My friends say Iâm the perfect blend of playful, sweet and cuddly. Fetching and tugging toys are my passion but belly rubs and massages are big wins for me, too! I overflow with enthusiasm at times but Iâm still a gentleman and a good listener. Now that I know how great life can be, I want to share it with my very own person, in my own calm & comfy home. As fun and outgoing as I am, I can get nervous if I hear a loud noise or feel unsure. Thatâs when I need my person to reassure me with their confidence.`Buddy is neutered, dewormed, microchipped and is up to date with vaccines. His adoption fee is $500.00, plus $8.50 for the dog license if you are a resident of NYC. Contribute to Buddy's Stash!

100% of Buddy's balance will be sent to whoever adopts Buddy.
Adopt Buddy and Receive Buddy's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Buddy's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Buddy's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Buddy, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Buddy's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Buddy was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Buddy’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Buddy’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Buddy’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
