About this Cat
Picture it: you're all dressed up, sitting on the couch, and you realize... that's exactly where you need to be tonight. You curl up, content to while away the hours watching your favorite show and doing a craft, or reading a book with your favorite candle crackling behind it. This is Pogo's idea of a perfect night in! Though he wears a tuxedo, Pogo is the ultimate homebody. He loves nothing more than to snuggle onto your lap and give you purrs all day. He may drool on you a little, but there's no better companion that this goofy tuxie. Abandoned to the streets when his caretaker moved out of their home, Pogo found his way across the street to a caring neighbor. Though shy at first (understandable, given his past), he has opened up to be the most affectionate and gentle boy, who loves to participate in any seated activity. Pogo is approximately 4 years old. He is neutered, microchipped, vaccinated and negative for FIV/FeLV. He has been dewormed and treated for fleas. We believe he would do well in a home with other cats or dogs. If you’d like to meet this perfect boy, please complete our adoption application and write in Dana as his rescuer https://brooklynanimalaction.org/adoption-forms/ Thank you for thinking of a rescue animal in need of a loving home! Adopting one animal will help to open space for future friends dreaming of forever homes! All Brooklyn Animal Action cats and dogs are available to adopt, foster and foster-to-adopt. Adopt Pogo and Receive Pogo's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Pogo's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Pogo's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Pogo, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Pogo's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Pogo was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Pogo’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Pogo’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Pogo’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
