About this Cat
Rocket is a sweet angel baby girl. She was found huddled in the engine compartment of a parked car with a badly injured arm. Unfortunately, the arm had to be amputated, but not only has she fully recovered, she’s thriving as a tripod! She does not need any special medical treatment other than her typical routine vaccinations. Rocket is so named because she loves tearing around the house chasing her mouse toys and treats. Between these bursts of playful energy, she likes to curl up in front of a window and watch the birds, squirrels, and tree branches waving in the wind. Rocket is very curious and is eager to discover new places and objects. She likes being in the same room as you but not always cuddled up next to you. If you catch her in the right mood, she’ll curl up in your lap for pets, but with a kitten’s attention span you’re lucky to get a few minutes before she’s investigating the next mystery. We don’t know much about Rocket’s background so her ideal forever home is with a family who can provide love and enrichment but also patience and give her the space she needs to build her confidence. As with most cats her age, her moods can change quickly. She does not like to be touched all of the time so if you have children, we recommend careful supervision of their interactions with Rocket so that you can enforce breaks when necessary. Remember, Rocket is a sweet angel baby girl. If you can provide the love she needs, it can be the start of a beautiful relationship. This cat needs to be adopted with a friend -- applications for them as a single cat will not be answered.

Adopt Rocket and Receive Rocket's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Rocket's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Rocket's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Rocket, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Rocket's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Rocket was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Rocket’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Rocket’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Rocket’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
