Bun is a lovely young girl with a beautiful cinnamon swirl coat and a delightful personality! Bun loves to follow you around from room to room, and will find a place to relax next to you at all hours of the day! If you work at a desk often, she will even occasionally jump up on your lap to be close to you. Every night she sleeps at the end of the bed, and will even come to rest on you in the morning. She’s a total sweetie, and is very quick to open up to people. Once she’s comfortable in a space, she’s also full of energy and very chatty, so she loves to play! She’s an adorable sweetheart and would make any home feel complete Bun approximately 2.5 years old, she is spayed, microchipped, vaccinated and positive for FIV, negative for FeLV. She has been dewormed and treated for fleas. She will be retested for FIV at the end of August in case it was a false positive. For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Bun was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Bun’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Bun’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Bun’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
