About this Dog
*Name: Oy *Age: approx DOB 7/30/23*Current Weight: 10 lbs *Adoption fee: $475 (plus $150 spay/neuter deposit, see below for more information)This sweet little guy has already overcome so much—and now he's ready for the loving home he’s always deserved. Oy is a male Toy Poodle who was rescued from a neglectful breeder situation. When we first met him, his tiny body was completely matted and it was clear he hadn’t known a gentle touch or kind word in a very long time. But despite everything, Oy’s heart remains open. Shy at first, Oy is learning that the world isn’t such a scary place. With a little patience and a lot of love, he blossoms into a gentle, affectionate pup. He gets along beautifully with other dogs and is slowly but surely warming up to people too. He’ll do best in a calm, understanding home where he can build trust at his own pace—and once he does, you’ll have a loyal little shadow for life. This brave boy has already started his healing journey. Now all he needs is someone to walk the rest of the way with him. IMPORTANT: This dog has not yet been altered. SNARR requires a $150 deposit in addition to your adoption fee, as well as a strictly enforced Spay/Neuter Contract stating you will have this dog altered within 6 months of adoption. The $150 deposit will be returned once the contract has been fulfilled. To apply to adopt, fill out an application at https://snarrnortheast.org/adopt/PLEASE CLICK HERE FOR FAQs

Adopt Oy and Receive Oy's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Oy's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Oy's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Oy, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Oy's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Oy was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Oy’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Oy’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Oy’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
