About this Dog
*Name: Moses*Age: 5 years old*Current Weight: 95 lbs*Rescued from: Texas*Adoption fee: $400Meet Moses – A Survivor, a Gentle Soul, and a True InspirationMoses isn’t just another rescue dog—he’s a survivor with a story that speaks volumes about his strength, resilience, and unwavering capacity for love.Originally rescued from a high-risk shelter in Texas after being placed on the euthanasia list, Moses was given a second chance at life—and he’s made every day since count. Now safe in foster care, this beautiful brindle boy has been patiently waiting for a forever home to call his own. His journey hasn’t been easy, but you’d never know it from the way he greets each new day with a wagging tail and a heart full of hope.Moses is completely blind, but he hasn’t let that slow him down. He’s adapted remarkably well to his surroundings and continues to find joy in life’s simplest pleasures: curling up in a cozy corner, napping on a soft bed, going for leisurely walks, and soaking up the sun in a quiet yard. Once he learns the layout of his home, he navigates with confidence and grace. When it comes to other dogs, Moses prefers friends who match his mellow vibe. He gets along best with calm, respectful canine companions—but would be perfectly content as your one-and-only cuddle buddy, too. More room on the bed, more treats just for him, and all the love to himself! Due to his natural instincts, Moses needs a home without cats or small animals. With people, Moses truly shines. He has a gentle, patient soul and a special tenderness with children. Whether lounging beside a napping kiddo or quietly sitting close during playtime, he brings calm and comfort wherever he goes.Moses is house-trained, well-mannered, and thrives with a steady, moderate routine. He enjoys the occasional outing but is just as happy relaxing at home, close to those he loves most. He doesn’t ask for much—just a soft place to land, kind guidance, and a heart to call his own. After all he’s endured, Moses deserves the peace and love of a forever home more than anything. He’s not just looking for a place to live—he’s searching for a family to belong to.Could you be the happy ending Moses has been waiting for?To apply to adopt, fill out an application at https://snarrnortheast.org/adopt/PLEASE CLICK HERE FOR FAQs

Adopt Moses and Receive Moses's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Moses's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Moses's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Moses, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Moses's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Moses was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Moses’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Moses’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Moses’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
