About this Dog
Meet Coconut Marshmallow! This sweet 7-month-old pup was recently found as a stray and brought to Manhattan Animal Care & Control before PMAR stepped in to give him a second chance. Life hasn’t been kind to Coconut—he endured an untreated leg injury that sadly resulted in amputation. But now, he's safe with us and currently settling into a loving foster home in Binghamton, NY. Coconut is great with other dogs, cats, and kids. He’s a friendly boy with a heart of gold, but his rough start left him with some separation anxiety—he prefers not to be left alone and will let you know! Because of this, we’re searching for a foster or forever family who’s home more often than not to help him feel secure and loved. He’s still learning about the world and figuring out how to be a confident, happy pup. With patience, structure, and a lot of love, we know Coconut will blossom into the amazing dog he’s meant to be. All of our animals are examined by a veterinarian, given age-appropriate vaccinations, de-wormed, microchipped, spayed or neutered, heart-worm tested, and treated if necessary. Vet references and a home/family visit are required, and an adoption fee applies. Transport options are available within our area of operation, including Pennsylvania, the tri-state area, and New England. Please note we do not adopt animals into Canada. Visit www.pmarinc.org for more information, and to fill out an application.

Adopt Coconut Marshmallow and Receive Coconut Marshmallow's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Coconut Marshmallow's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Coconut Marshmallow's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Coconut Marshmallow, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Coconut Marshmallow's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Coconut Marshmallow was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Coconut Marshmallow’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Coconut Marshmallow’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Coconut Marshmallow’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
