About this Dog
Hi! My name is Rylee and I am looking for a forever home. I was picked up as a stray and taken to a super scary place called a shelter where, after my hold time was up, I ended up on something bad called "the list" (it didn't help that I suffer from "black dog syndrome" where us black dogs just kind of meld into the back of our kennels, oftentimes getting overlooked). Fortunately fo rme, BCAA heard about my plight and said they would help me and I got sprung just in the nick of time ... yeah! I appear to be mostly a black lab mixed with a little something else with a beautiful thick, black coat and just a touch of white on my chest. I'm a big girl at a little over 62lbs so my foster mom is helping me get my girlish figure back (I love my food and treats which I take gently). I'm around 5 years old so I'm past all of that puppy foolishness and with enough get-up-and-go to be ready for any adventure you want to take. I love getting attention and being with my person, whether that's chilling or going for a walk. I have gotten along with all of the other dogs I have met and haven't bothered those things called cats. I have done well in my crate without any accidents, barking or tearing up of bedding; however, I would much prefer to be out with you. I have also done well on leash, just pulling a little when I first get out in my excitment of going out. If you would like to meet me, please fill out an application which can be found at www.bcaaofnj.org.
Contribute to Rylee's Stash!

100% of Rylee's balance will be sent to whoever adopts Rylee.
Adopt Rylee and Receive Rylee's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Rylee's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Rylee's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Rylee, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Rylee's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Rylee was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Rylee’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Rylee’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Rylee’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
