Harley’s story is heartbreaking: in 2021, she was abandoned behind our gates by someone who didn’t even look back. First, he dropped off another dog, and then came back a second time to leave Harley — shouting “she doesn’t listen” as he drove away. The truth? She just didn’t know any better yet… and with us, she’s proven to be a great listener and an even better companion. Sadly, Harley was failed again. After finally finding a home, she was abandoned yet again and picked up as a stray. Luckily, her microchip brought her back to safety with us — and now we’re determined to find her the forever home she truly deserves. Harley is incredibly affectionate. She adores people and wants nothing more than to be by your side. She previously lived with kids and was fantastic with them. Harley would do best as your one-and-only pet, soaking up all the love for herself. She’s been through so much — but her heart is wide open. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Harley Quinn NJ was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Harley Quinn NJ’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Harley Quinn NJ’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Harley Quinn NJ’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
