About this Dog
I was told that I had to write this bio... But I don't want to because I love this dog.But my dog doesn't love this dog and it's not fair to her. Meet Verona. This 3 1/2 yr old rottie is a Serbian import. She has a solid, stable temperament, is smart and attentive, an avid chippie hunter, and has lovely manners. She has never met a toy she didn't like - and especially prefers things that bounce (like Kongs), soccer size balls, and stuffies with floppy arms/legs/ears. AND she doesn't destroy her stuffies. Her two favorite meals are breakfast & dinner. She drinks lots of water, so her fur has a healthy glow. Running in the yard after a stick, ball, kong or uprooted baby oak tree (opportunistic acorn) are all great ways to spend some time. Verona is social with other dogs her own size. She has not met any small dogs with us and is pretty focused on chippies, squirrels and mice and probably will be too much for a cat. She wants to be with you when you are there - except when you're in the car. Then she prefers to watch from a distance. She is house trained, crate trained, knows how to sit and doesn't plow into you when she runs. We also do not know how she is with children. While I doubt she would be intentionally mean to a child, we do not know how she is with them, and her former family was not kid-enabled. Verona is begrudgingly available for adoption. She is a true favorite. 4theloveofdog.org

Adopt Verona and Receive Verona's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Verona's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Verona's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Verona, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Verona's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Verona was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Verona’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Verona’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Verona’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
